6362MetaForce: A Description and Introduction to our Family
6362MetaForce was born on Ashwem Beach, Goa (India), but now our home base is New York City. We still keep strong ties to our Indian family, and India is still our second home.
We maintain our own on-line boutique to provide bohemian dreamers worldwide with the tools of our lifestyle - suede and leather gear (from belt bags to daypacks to utility belts), handmade brass and eco-friendly jewelry, and killer music.
Musically, 6362MetaForce collaborates with psytrance, global grooves, chill-out and electronica labels, promoters and artists. We support electronic artists worldwide who produce original sounds with a musical heartbeat and a technological vision. We are often asked where the name, 6362MetaForce comes from. This question is never easy to answer, but here are the basics:
6362
6362 is a numerological “good luck code” given to us by a well-wishing astrologer in India at the time of our group's birth. The addition of its numerals equals to the symbol of infinity (8) and it symbolizes longevity. Another thing: 6362 is the position of the minor planet “Tunis” – and we've realized it just may be our mythological home.
MetaForce
“Meta” means “Compassion” or “Of the heart” in Sanskrit, but it also means “Above/Beyond” in Greek. We incorporated both of these principles in our name and our identity. “Force” denotes the power and integrity we channel into our all of our ventures as 6362MetaForce. We try to hold it down with powerful good energy, whether the day is sunny or dark.
